Obituary

Gibson, Perry, 92, of Tellico Plains, Tennessee and Clermont, Florida died on February 10, 2012.  He was born April 22, 1919 in Kent, Ohio.  He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grand Father, Great Grand Father, and Great Great Grand Father.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clermont, Florida and Tellico Plains, Tennessee.  He was a 50 plus year member of the Masonic Lodge, Worthy Patron in the Eastern Star Clermont Chapter #118.  Perry was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He is survived by daughter, Teresa Coonley and son in law Charles of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, son, Steven P. Gibson and daughter in law Susy of Clermont, Florida; daughter April Costilow and son in law Tracey of Clermont, Florida; and sons, Shannon Gibson of Clermont, Florida and Dale Gibson of Ione, California; 6 grandchildren, Greg Coonley, Mari Coonley, Sandra Coonley, Daniel Coonley, Brian Gibson and Jason Gibson.  He also had 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Perry was an accomplished business man, owning several businesses.  His last business was past owner of Clermont Automotive & Tire Center, Inc.

He was very devoted to his family, faith and friends.



The Funeral Service for Perry Gibson will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 18th at Becker Funeral Home, Pastor Gary Edwards officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, military honors will be rendered.  Visitation will be from 10AM till service time at the funeral home.
