PAUL V WILLIS, age 86, passed away on February 13, 2011. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana on November 24, 1924. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he returned home and married his high school sweetheart, Doris J Kohen in 1946. They had 2 sons, David and Gary, and then moved to Windermere, Florida in 1955 where they built a home on Lake Tibet Butler.
An experienced mechanic, he owned and operated Paul's Garage, first in downtown Windermere, and then on Dillard Street in Winter Garden. Paul was always interested in new ideas and learning new things, including becoming a licensed pilot. In addition to the home in Windermere, he built an underground home in Texas and two homes in Montverde, where he and Doris lived for many years.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Doris, his two sons and their families; David Willis and wife Ellen, Gary Willis and wife Beverly. Grandchildren, Kimberly Bunton and her husband Tom, Becky Willis, Miki Gess-Willis, great-grandchildren Matthew and Tony Niccoli and Doris's family, Betty Darnell of Indiana, Roy and Jan Kohen of Colorado and Ray and Linda Kohen of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews. Paul will also be missed by Kimberly and Becky's mother, Barbara Beasley of Apopka.

The family will have a celebration of Paul's life at 10am on Saturday, February 19th at Becker Funeral Home, 806 Minneola Ave., Clermont, FL 34711. Should friends desire, the family suggests memorial contributions in his name to Alzheimer's Family Organization, P.O. Box 1939, New Port Richey, FL 34656-1939.
