Obituary

Paul J. Hodson passed away peacefully on May 11, 2020. He grew up in Massachusetts, where he loved cars from the time he was young and spent many hours restoring antique cars. He knew every junk yard selling parts from Maine to Massachusetts.  And a bid as a lark to the Cambridge Fire Department turned into his owning seven fire trucks and a new hobby was born.
His greatest passion was his bicycle and he never missed a day riding.  He loved riding the hills of Clermont, riding all over Anna Maria Island and he looked forward to his yearly bike trips in Germany where he rode with his friend Walter. He fought his way back to riding his bike after each illness and never gave up...
He married his beloved wife, Jo-Anne and together they set off for a new adventure in Florida. Over the course of the next 35 years, they traveled the world together. He was a loving husband who loved his family without reservation and was a loyal friend.  He will be greatly missed.
He survived by his wife, Jo-Anne; son Daniel (Heike); granddaughters, Jennifer and Melissa; s isters-in-law, Cindy Zesewitz (Rick) and Christine George; brother-in-law, Larry George (Dawn) and nieces and nephews who he loved.

Services are being postponed due to social distancing restrictions and will be announced once finalized.
