Paul Edward Bowen, Sr., 76, Groveland, passed away November 30, 2012 at Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares. He was born May 29, 1936 in Clermont son of Morris Bowen & Eldora Nancy Kirkley Bowen. A lifelong resident, he served in the US Army, was former owner of Pat's Hobby Center & was a car salesman at Bob Wade Ford. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clermont and was an avid fisherman.  His wife Patricia Bowen preceded him in death on July 15, 2000. Surviving are his children Paul Edward Bowen, Jr. of Clermont; Sharon (Shelly) Henderson of Groveland & Sheila (Tim) Crowe of Winter Garden; grandchildren Shelsea Temples; Shelayne Henderson; Shelly Henderson, Jr., & TJ Crowe; great-granddaughter Daisy Rayne Temples & siblings Vivian Doto & Doris (John) Wisner all of Minneola; Razz (Eileen) Bowen & Rudy Bowen all of Clermont & George (Shirley) Bowen, Palatka.



The funeral service for Mr. Bowen will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 3, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Clermont. Reverend Darrell Sheeley, Bay Lake Baptist Church will officiate.
