Patrick was a devoted husband and best friend to his High School Sweetheart, Dawn Stralis Solomon; loving father of Eleanor Solomon-Bottey, James Solomon, and William Solomon; doting grandfather of Patrick Mark Bottey and Lillian Grace Solomon; inspiring brother to Casey Solomon and his brother-in-law Kris Green; and loving father to his children-in-law Mark Bottey and Jenna Solomon (nee Foley). Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, William Solomon and Barbara Solomon (nee Casey).

After observing Patrick's compassionate, selfless spirit and superhuman strength, God recruited Patrick to the rank of Managing Angel in his healing army On February 16, 2022.

Patrick has left his physical body. However, his immutable spirit will remain vibrant with his family and the innumerable people whose lives he touched for the better during his all too brief but vibrant life on Earth for decades to come.
