Obituary
Patrick David Kennedy, age 68 of Groveland, FL died March 31, 2015 after a long illness at the Mike Conley Hospice House.
He was born in Proctor, VT on November 8, 1946, son of Berniece Kellogg Kennedy and Joseph E. Kennedy. Pat lived in the Rutland, VT area until moving to Florida in 1991 to satisfy his love of golf.
A 1965 graduate of Rutland High School, he was a veteran of the US Army and Vermont National Guard. While residing in the Rutland area he was employed by various companies in the building trades. After moving to Florida he was the owner /operator of Kennedy Carpet Cleaning.
Surviving are his mother Berniece of Groveland; son Michael and fiancé Jessica Cucinelli of Milton VT; brother Kevin and wife Beth Applegarth of Mascotte, FL; sisters Donna Kinnie of Rutland Town, VT; Sue Parker and husband Gary of Clarendon, VT; Sharon Hogan of Clermont, FL & Kathy Hill and husband Bill of White Creek, NY; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his infant son Brian and his father Joseph.
Arrangements are:
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Roy Eco as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat''s memory can be made to Mike Conley Hospice House, 2100 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont, FL 34711 or to a charity of one''s choice.
