Patricia  Ann (Schwartz) Hinkle was born  in Charleroi, Pa on March 28, 1945 to Jack and Patricia (Lewis) Schwartz.  She moved to Midway, PA at age five and graduated from Fort Cherry High School in 1963.  She attended Asbury College in Wilmore, KY, where she met her husband Bob.  They were married August 26, 1966.  Patti was a teacher and supported her husband in his career as a United Methodist minister.

She is predeceased by her parents, a brother, Jack (in infancy) and a niece, Heather.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bob, two sons, Paul (Stephaine) Hinkle of Gilbert, AZ, David (Julie) Hinkle of Rocky Point, NC, and one daughter, Mary (Scott) Warr of Mascotte, FL.   Five Grandchildren Devin Hinkle, John Hinkle, Cleo Hinkle, Natalie Warr and Katelyn Warr.  A brother, Ralph (Shirley) Schwartz, and two sisters, Barb (Charlie) Rea, Cathi (Bill) Dinsmore and 12 nieces and nephews.

Patti was a life long Christian and especially liked to work with children.  She sang in the chior at church and taught Sunday School and ran Bible Schools in the summer for many years. She was a dedicated preacher's wife and mother.  She loved being a grandmother and to spend as many birthdays with all her grandchildren as possible after she and her husband retired.  She will fondly be remembered by her family as the sale queen and could find just about anything on sale or clearance.  Her family is comforted in knowing she was instantly in Heaven when she left this life and is right now enjoying unlimited Chocolate.

A celebration of her life will be April 1, 2025 at 11AM at Edge UMC in Groveland, FL, with a visitation for an hour prior to the service.  The family will also receive visitation at Becker Funeral  Home in Clermont, FL on Monday March 31, 2025 from 5-8.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Heifer Project International , which was a cause close to her heart.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 31, 2025, from 5pm until 8pm at Becker Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 11am, at Edge Memorial United Methodist Church, 441 S Main Ave, Groveland.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Groveland.
