Obituary

Patrice Marie Fiduccia (nee Gilroy), loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Clermont, Florida on November 29,2025. Pat, the daughter of William and Helen (Coyne) Gilroy, was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 11, 1948

Pat is survived by her husband of 54 years, James (Jim) Paul Fiduccia, her daughter Stacey Eileen Chale (and her husband Michael Chale) and four loving grandchildren Alexander Fiduccia, Zachary Chale, Anthony Fiduccia and Amelia Chale. Pat was predeceased by her son Scott James Fiduccia who passed into eternal life in 2018. Pat, known as "Patti" to her siblings, is also survived by her sisters Mary Vetro and Doreen Russo and her brothers William Gilroy, Michael Gilroy and Martin Gilroy. Patti is predeceased by three siblings. Joan Cure, Regina Bloom and Gerald Gilroy.

Pat lived a life filled with kindness, compassion, warmth and loyalty. Family was the center of her world. Her greatest joy was in  raising her children, Scott and Stacey, building a life with Jim, and in providing a strong foundation for the family. She was selfless, devoting herself fully to their well-being. She guided her children with patience, encouragement, and constant support. Whether it was attending school events, helping with projects and homework, or just being present with her love and reassurance, she shaped her family through everyday care. Family first - she made sure of it.

A1966 graduate of Belleville High School, Pat began her career as an administrative assistant in an accounting firm, where she met her future husband, Jim. After marrying and building their early life together in East Hanover, New Jersey, the family moved to South Florida in 1983 when Jim accepted a job transfer, Pat continued to work in administrative and bookkeeping roles, and she was a strong contributor in many important ways to the family's distribution business. She was always dependable and willing to do whatever it took to help grow the business, while still managing to juggle it all without sacrificing what mattered most.

While life was always filled with family, work and activities, she and Jim always had a passion for travel. Every year was filled with memorable family vacations, weekends at their second home in the ocean community of Hutchinson Island in Stuart, Florida, or, in later years, having the opportunity to "see the world."

Over the past decade, Pat faced considerable health challenges, including Parkinson's disease and progressive dementia. Despite these struggles, she always remained optimistic, looking forward, never dwelling on her sickness. She will be remembered for her sweet, gentle heart, her loyalty, and the love she poured into her family. Pat's life mattered!
