Ossie Lee Jackson, 78, Okahumpka, passed away December 14, 2010 at South Lake Hospital in Clermont. He was born June 23, 1932 in Wheeler County, GA son of Walter Adron Jackson & Mary Elizabeth Johnson Jackson. He was a mechanic & welder and a local resident since 1958 from Hazelhurst, GA. He was a member of 15th & Center Street Church of God in Leesburg. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Hazel Brantly Jackson in 2008; daughter Camille Jackson in 1990; brother Clyde Jackson & half-brother James Lashley. Surviving are his children Samuel Jackson & his wife Denise & Glenda Hyder all of Mascotte; grandchildren Sammy, Jonathan, Michael & Mikaela & siblings Elizabeth Taylor, Lake Mary; Margie Molton, Wiersdale & Walter Jackson, Graham, GA.



The funeral service for Ossie Jackson will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the graveside in Linden Cemetery. Bishop Lanny Troller & Reverend James A. Franklin will officiate.
