IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norma Ann
Madden
July 27, 1937 – June 25, 2024
Madden, Norma Ann, 86, born on July 27, 1937 as Norma Ann Hagman, daughter of Soren Eric Hagman and Grace Frances Coan, passed peacefully into Eternal Life on June 25, 2024. Born and raised in Escanaba, Michigan, Norma loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing on Lake Michigan. She also loved to dance and draw, especially designing women's clothes. She married and had four children, Gregory David Nelson, Shelly Ann Nelson, Tammie Ann Johnson and Brian Keith Nelson, Greg suffered a motorcycle accident on 1/31/2003 which claimed his life and Shelly died just three days old of complications. Norma has 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Norma also is survived by two sisters, Barbara J Cutcher (Steve) of Clermont FL and Mary T Johnson (Mike) of Perkins MI.
Norma moved to central Florida, namely the Town of Montverde in 1976. She always loved the Town of Montverde for its beauty and serenity. She became a hair stylist, eventually turning in her scissors to go to work for the FL Auto Auction in Ocoee where she was an Accident Investigator. She enjoyed working for the auction and remained with them until she retired.
She was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimers at the age of 75, but was able to take care of herself until 2020 when she moved into Madison at Clermont Assisted Living. She met many and was the life of the party until she had to be placed into the Memory care section for her own safety and wellbeing. I am thankful to Madison at Clermont for the Care that my mom received while residing there.
Family was always so important to Norma, often having family get togethers. I pray each of you will always remember her spirited and fun loving personality and that she loved you deeply.
Mom I will love you always - until we meet again.
