Norma I Gonzalez

March 3,1947- July 8,2019

Mrs. Norma Iris Gonzalez of Clermont, FL, passed away at 72 from complications of cancer on Monday July 8,2019.

Norma was born to parents Ramon & Luz Pinela on March 3, 1947 in Brooklyn New York.  She was one of 3 children, sister Maria Espada and predeceased by brother Raymond Pinela.  Norma worked for the City of New Haven, CT for 30 years as a day care teacher, working her way to becoming a social worker for the New Haven Child Development Program. Living in New Haven for most of her life she moved to Groveland FL in 2013, then to Clermont FL in 2017.  She lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face.  She liked playing bingo, bowling, listening to Motown music, spending time with her family and going to church.

Widowed to Ramon Gonzalez Lopez (2016) Norma is survived by her son Angel Quiñones & wife Marisol Dominguez, daughter Yvette Quiñones & husband William Portalatin, daughter Mercedes & husband Latherio Johnson, son Ramon & wife Michelle Quiñones, seven grandchildren Jose , Tobias, Genesis, Katherine, Nelson Alex, Michelle and Alessandra and a host of family and friends. She will be forever in our hearts and will be truly missed.
