IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norbert Aldwyn
Wiltshire
September 4, 1949 – September 6, 2017
Norbert A. Wiltshire's journey began on September 4, 1949 in Trinidad and Tobago and ended on September 6,2017 in Clermont, FL. Norbert was born to Norma Thomas and Gilbert Permell. He was raised by his mother, Norma and Step-father Lloyd Wiltshire in Trinidad and Tobago. Norbert is the eldest of his sibling. He held the responsibility of raising his younger sibling and extended family. As a youth Norbert was very active in the church and enjoyed sharing good laughs with friends. As he matured Norbert found a passion for "pan" (steel drums). In a time when "pan" was considered "music for the rebels" Norbert spent long hours at the pan yard. His passion for pan caught the eye of Lucille, almost like a scene from Westside story. The two fell madly in love and the rest is history! August 24, 1975 Norbert and Lucille vowed to spend the remainder of their lives together through thick and thin, good or bad, wealth or poverty, and sickness or health. Their love for one another overcame many adversities which blossomed into forming a family. Norbert fathered two children with Lucille and he was enthusiastic about spending time with and raising his children. He worked hard to provide for his family and led his family as a man should. Not only was Norbert a provider but he also made time to take vacations and relax with his family. Norbert protected his wife and supported both children as they pursued their dreams. Norbert was an overcomer, he never saw a problem, he always saw an unanswered question that just needed an answer. In the later years of life Norbert dedicated his all of his time to his grandchildren, he enjoyed showering them with gifts and loved joking around with them. Norbert was responsible, stylish, wise, trustworthy, dedicated, honest, loving, generous, a leader, a man with a vision, and a good good father.
