Born in La Playa de Humacao, Puerto Rico on March 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Luis and Ada Olivencia, Nora passed away peacefully on March 16, 2020 at 3:33 a.m.  in Leesburg, FL on her 72nd year.

Nora was preceded in death by her beloved husband William "Willie" Perez on February , 2014 after 25 years of marriage. She is survived by her three children: Litza Rodriguez and Linda Cruz of Minneola, FL, and Peter Rijos of San Antonio, TX. She has 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren: Joshua Briseno, Laurie, husband, Kevin Jack and 3 children, Anthony Novak and son, David C. Rodriguez, Cory Rodriguez, Nathan Rodriguez and 3 children, Marissa Rijos, Carlos P. Rivera, and Zander Rijos. She is survived by two sisters, Angelita and her husband Federico Bolques of St. Croix, USVI and Luz Brignoni of Bradenton, FL.

Nora was preceded into death by two of her sisters: Syria Solis and Rosalia Gonzalez, and by her granddaughter, Natalia. She is recalled dearly by her in-laws. She was a beloved aunt and was cherished by her nieces and nephews.

Nora was a faithful servant of God. She was a devoted Christian until the very end. Her favorite bible verse was Joshua 1:9;

"Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

"Mira que te mando que te fuerces y seas valiente; no temas ni desmayes por que Jehovah tu Dios estara contigo en dondequiera que tu vallas."

Nora loved music especially worship songs. She would still sing gospels when it was even difficult for her to speak. Her favorite song was, "Levanto Mis Manos."

Nora was a very humble woman who gave everything she had to everyone. She would feed, take care of, and bring back to health anyone she could help. She had a giving nature and tried to live her life through Christ.
