Nancy Lee (Duer) Swenson died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. She was 84 years old.

She will be laid to rest with her husband, Melvern Swenson, who preceded her in death, at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota.

Nancy was born in Ohio, lived in and raised her family in California, and moved to Clermont in 2008 shortly after her retirement from teaching. She was a graduate of Hiram College and later received her Masters in Education at San Francisco State University.

She attended the Windermere United Church of Christ and enjoyed membership in many organizations, including P.E.O. Nancy loved her family and many friends beyond measure. She also loved the many dogs she shared with her late husband, her Grand Kitties, her antiques, and her faith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Leesa and Jan Burzynski of Clermont, Florida, her son and son-in-law, Erick Swenson and Juan Carlos Morales of Oakland, California, her cousin Paula Krugh, and niece Corrie Swenson.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday October 20 ^th at 2:00pm at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont.
