Obituary
Nancy T. Mason, 74, of Clermont, FL, died peacefully July 14, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Paducah, KY and also lived in Lexington, KY; Rome, Italy; Manassas, VA; Winchester, KY and Clermont.
Nancy majored in English and Psychology at the University of Kentucky. She was a devoted Mother and homemaker, youth leader at Bethel Lutheran Church and PTA President in Manassas, VA, member of the Little Garden Club of Winchester, KY, interior decorator and a Kentucky Colonel. She requested that she be remembered by "Did nothing spectacular – just loved with all her might".
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harry E. Mason of Clermont, FL; son, Eric A. Mason of Reunion, FL and sister Victoria B. Kammer of Cary, NC. She was preceded in death by daughter, Laura Ellen Mason of Manassas, VA and parents, William J. and Hazel Anderson Thomis of Cary, NC.
Arrangements are:
A Memorial Homily of Hope will be conducted by Lutheran Bishop Edward R. Benoway at the Heritage Hills Clubhouse in Clermont, FL at 1:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
