Obituary
Mildred Elizabeth Van Horn, age 94, passed away at home on Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was born on October 12, 1925 in Cardwell, Missouri. Millie worked for Buick Motor Division as a Teletype Operator. She went back to school and received her RN license in 1978 working at Flint Osteopathic Hospital until she retired to Florida in 1985.
Mildred was preceded by her husband, John who passed away on April 8, 2018. She is survived by her son James Harris and his wife Diane; son John Van Horn and his wife Melissa; grandchildren, Wendy and her husband Doug; Sheri and her husband Kevin; Christina and her husband Christopher; and Kimberly, as well as four great grandchildren; Taylor, Austin, Jacob and Aeryn.
The family will announce a Celebration of Life when arrangements are finalized. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
