Mildred O. Skipper, 81, Bushnell, passed away December 1, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Clermont. She was born September 15, 1929 in Holmes County, FL daughter of William & Callie Owens and was a lifelong Florida resident. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Okahumpka. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Skipper; daughter Donna Kerce; son Carl Skipper & 6 siblings. Surviving are her children James E. (Sharon) Skipper, Lake Panasofkee; Tony J. (Tammy) Skipper, Bushnell; Lindy (Powell) Walker & Mary (Danny) Quigley all of Clermont; 18 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.



The funeral service for Mildred Skipper will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 3, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Okahumpka. Pastor Todd Herald will officiate. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Visitation will be from 6-9 on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the church.



The family suggests memorial contributions to the church or to Cornerstone Hospice.
