Martha “Mickey” Jane Parker, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026.

Born on December 8, 1935, in Evansville, Indiana, Mickey lived a life marked by her love for her family and spent her career working as a telephone operator.

Mickey will be lovingly remembered by her brother, James Goodge; her daughter, Rita Dobson; her three grandchildren, Nick, Neal, and Laura; and her five great-grandchildren, Alexus, Trenton, Kaileigh, Kaylynn, and William. She cherished her family and took great joy in watching it grow through the generations.

Mickey will be remembered for her fiery disposition, her humor, and her love of crossword puzzles and reading.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local humane society in her memory, honoring her compassion and love for animals.
