Michael Wayne Spitzer, age 61, of Clermont, FL passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 30, 2019 at South Lake Hospital. He was born in South Bend, Indiana December 3, 1957 the son of Ernest J. Spitzer and Alice E. Adams. Michael spent most of the past 44 years working as a bartender at various locations, most recently at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. He loved all sports and was a huge Notre Dame football fan. He was a loving father and husband and was known for his huge heart and personality. He cared about his family more than anything. Michael married Deborah Stevens on February 15, 1991 in Orlando, FL.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Shirley Spitzer Wantuck. He is survived by his wife Deborah, his son Daniel and daughter Shannon, all of Clermont, FL. Also surviving are two sisters, Pat Spitzer of Lakeland, FL and Cathy Spitzer Litty of Elkhart, IN, along with his nieces Michele Wantuck Youngblood of Michigan, Niki Litty and Gina Litty Bonewitz of Elkhart, IN, as well as nephew Jason Wantuck of Michigan.
