IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael John
Moreau
February 24, 1971 – October 9, 2025
It is with deep sadness and love that we share the passing of Michael John "Mike" Moreau, who left us far too soon on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the age of 54 after a twenty eight month battle with Glioblastoma. He was brave, strong, and kept believing even when the road grew difficult. .
Born on February 24, 1971, in Norwich, Connecticut, Mike spent his early years in New England before moving to Florida with his family at the age of nine. They settled in the Winter Garden area, where he grew up with his brother Dave by his side enjoying a life that included football, baseball, skateboarding, and listening to all kinds of music—often singing off-key with enthusiasm according to his friend Mike Hracyk. Mike developed a deep love for fishing and enjoyed spending time with his brother and father while restoring classic cars, including a '36 Ford and his '67 Nova. The lasting friendships, bond with his brother Dave, relationship with his parents, and truly everyone he engaged with speaks volumes about Mike as a man of character and heart.
After high school, Mike was determined to attend college. He worked his way through college at the local Piggly Wiggly and Food Lion, taking pride in his work in the produce department and creating countless stories along the way—all while keeping up with his studies. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, carrying his knowledge, determination, and strong work ethic into everything he pursued.
A Dedicated Career and Passion for Life
Mike built an impressive career as a Hematology Oncology Sales Professional with Johnson & Johnson, where he found great purpose in helping others. He formed long-lasting relationships with coworkers, clients, and medical professionals, leaving a lasting impact through his compassion, integrity, and genuine care.
Beyond his career, Mike had a deep interest in investing and real estate. He developed a successful portfolio, often saying that a property only needed "paint and carpet" to be move-in ready. Mike was ready to invest in anything that gained a return and was frugal enough to save his earnings. His goal was to retire at 55, and he worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality—always willing to share his knowledge and advice with others along the way.
A Heart Full of Love
Mike was an adoring husband, devoted father, cherished son, loving brother, supportive Uncle, and loyal friend to many. He had a rare ability to make everyone he met feel seen and valued—listening deeply, remembering the details that mattered, and connecting with sincerity.
His perfectly timed sense of humor could light up any room. He loved nothing more than spending time with the people he cared about most—sharing stories over a good bourbon, his willingness to simply listen, being a confidant to many while providing gentle advice, and was happy to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Mike lived in Clermont, Florida, with his wife and best friend, Jenette Moreau, where they shared a simple, joyful life together—enjoying sunrises and sunsets over the lake and filling their home with love, kindness, respect, and laughter.
Those Who Carry His Memory
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Jenette Moreau, of Clermont, FL; his children, Jonathan Moreau and Jack Peterzen; and his parents, Catherine and Paul Moreau. He is also survived by his brother, David Moreau, and wife Kendra, along with their sons Matthew and Justin. Matthew is the proud father of Hudson and Iris, and Justin and his wife Peytyn are the loving parents of Elsie Mae and Emmy.
Mike will also be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Todd Nowakowski and wife Melanie, and their children Lyla and Reagan; as well as his sister-in-law Kariann Bernard and husband James, and their daughter Natalee.
