Michael Lee Minks, 52, of Clermont, FL passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Michael was born on August 16, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Everett and Mary Jane Minks.  He was a resident of Clermont since 1992.  Michael worked as a Master Service Technician for Lake Apopka Gas Company, coached Little League baseball and enjoyed golf.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Diana; children, Michael and Samantha Minks of Clermont; brothers, Steve Minks of Orlando, Jeff Minks of Coral Gables, FL and sister, Nancy Laforce of Horseheads, NY.



Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 16th at the First United Methodist Church, Clermont.  Reverend Gary Edwards officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 10PM Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to a trust fund set-up on the children' behalf, Bank of America, Clermont, acct. #8980-4261-1711.
