Michael Don Brown, 77, of Clermont, Florida, passed away on January 31, 2025.  He was born on July 18, 1947 in Anniston, Alabama, to Betty and Jesse Brown.
After graduating high school, and after his time as a self-proclaimed original hippie,  Michael embarked on a journey with the Merchant Marines before establishing himself as a highly respected residential and commercial painting contractor, a career he successfully maintained for over 50 years.  His dedication, skill and work ethic earned him a reputation as a master of his trade.
Michael was married to the love of his life, Suzanne Cherie Croncich, for over 31 years.  A devoted husband, brother, son and friend, he was known for his sweet and kind soul.  Always willing to lend a helping hand. He volunteered for various organizations and was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where he also contributed his time and talent many times for the betterment of the parish.
His passions included restoring his beloved 1966 Chevelle Super Sport, curating an extensive vinyl record collection, and collecting rare music posters.  Whether it was through his work, his hobbies, or his infectious personality, Michael had a way of bringing out the best in everyone around him.  He was the life of the party and a beacon of warmth and generosity.
Michael is survived by his wife, Suzanne Brown, his daughter, Cherie Prusnofsky (Rob), his step- son, Mickey Kuharske (Gillian), his son, Ryan Brown, and daughter, Shannon Gregory (Tony).  In addition, he is survived by his mother Betty Brown and his brothers, Joey Brown, Barney Brown (Kristi) and seven grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Becker Funeral home on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 4pm - 7pm. Funeral service will be Friday February 7, 2025 at 1pm with Graveside service immediately after.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations in Michael's name be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
