Merville W. Albrecht, 93, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018 surrounded by family. Merv was a man of strong faith, integrity and character and he maintained a sense of optimism that continued until his final days. During WWII, Merv was on active duty with the US Navy in the Pacific theater and served on the USS Appalachian. He will be remembered with love by his wife Doris, his four children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Friday, April 27, at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private on Monday, April 30 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans, Charitable Service Trust ( www.cst.dav.org ) or Catholic Relief Services ( www.crs.org ).
