Melinda Soo Shaver

June 25, 1975 - January 31, 2023

Melinda was born in Seoul, South Korea, and brought to the United States at six months old when she was adopted by Richard and Carol Spitzer. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest and attended Florida College in Tampa where she met her husband. After college, Melinda back to the Pacific Northwest where she worked as a paralegal. Melinda married Scott in 2002 and they relocated to Florida in 2007 when her husband took a job with Disney.

Melinda was a faithful Christian and member of the Clermont Church of Christ, where she worshiped since 2008. She loved caring for her family, checking up on others, cheering for the Chicago Blackhawks, reading, spending time with friends, shopping, and family gatherings.

Melinda is survived by her loving husband, Scott Shaver, her mother, Carol Ann Spitzer, her brother, Michael Spitzer, and her sister, Amber Lewis.
