Obituary
Melba N. Wiggins, 63, of Clermont, FL, passed away on September 5, 2016 at The Villages Regional Hospital in The Villages, FL. Born on January 8, 1953 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the proud parents of Jose & Rosa Rivera. She moved to the Clermont area in 2002, coming from Chatahoochee, FL and was raised in the Roman Catholic faith. She worked along with her husband in the law enforcement field with OPD. Melba loved to do canvas painting and make ceramics and she truly loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her mother, Rosa Rivera of Clermont, FL; her daughters: Christine (Michael) Day of Tallahassee, FL & Jennifer Belanger (Scott Sloan) of Clermont, FL; a son, Michael Wiggins of Sneads, FL; her sister, Wanda Fernandez (Carlos) of Clermont, FL; her brothers: Joey Rivera (Frances) of Newport News, VA & Luis Rivera of Clermont, FL and her 10 grandchildren.
