Obituary
Mary E. Vaughan, was born June 29, 1917 in Newburgh, NY and passed away May 15, 2012 in Clermont.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Vaughan in 1980. Also preceding her were 6 half brothers and sisters. She and her husband were owner/operators of the Twilite Motel in Ellsworth, Maine for many years.
Once her husband passed Mary continued playing their favorite games of bridge and cribbage. She also loved to travel to different places around the world and volunteered at South Lake Hospital for 29 years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including her niece Sylvia Malarik and husband Jim who were her caregivers for the last 5 years.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 19th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont. Father Cromwell Cabrisos celebrating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials to South Lake Hospital, Clermont.
