Obituary

Mary H. Testa, 98, of Clermont, FL, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clemont.  Born on December 22, 1918 in Chicago, IL to Michael & Maria (Didoni) Volgarino, Mary was a homemaker and moved to Naples, FL from Illinois in 1985 and then moved to Clermont in 2003.  She was the Matriarch of her family, a true homemaker, supporting her loving husband and family.  She was a very giving person and loved everyone within the family and always prayed for them.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Louis, two brothers: Anthony & Ralph Volgarino, her half sister, Anna & half brother, Eli.  Survivors include her loving daughters: Marlene M. Green of Clermont & Phyllis L. Rion of Bartlett, IL; her 7 grandchildren: Debbie, Kathy, Don, John, Dawn, Deana & Michelle and 15 great-grandchildren.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, FL.  The family will receive friends on Sunday January 22, from 2:00-5:00pm at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola, Ave, Clermont, FL 34711.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's honor to a charity of choice.
