Mary Goff Shaw, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born June 21, 1930 in Tifton, Georgia, daughter of the late Jasper Kibby Goff and Mattie Fletcher Young. Having moved to Clermont in 1956 she considered this home and a community she so dearly loved. She worked at the Lake County Tax Collectors Office (Tag Office) until her retirement in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manning F. Shaw II, brother JK Goff and beloved son Butch Shaw. Surviving are her son Eddie Shaw, Tavares; daughter Mimi Ogden and husband Paul, Clermont; beloved sister June White and husband JH White, Georgia; daughter-in-law Jodie Shaw, Apopka; and her grandchildren who she dearly loved and cherished Megan Shaw, Georgia and Scotty Shaw, Apopka, A very special thank you from the family to our cousin Becky Lane who was so caring and giving of herself when Mary needed it most. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
