Mary Ellan Blount, affectionately known as "Mellan", 68, Clermont, passed away November 25, 2011. She was born February 24,1943 in Memphis, TN daughter of Thomas Emerson & Mary Rigsbee Emerson. On June 28,1962 she was united in marriage to Richard E. Blount in Knoxville, TN. Surviving is her husband Richard; children Rick Blount of Orlando & Shari Morton, Clermont; granddaughters Meaghan & Amanda Morton & siblings Pat Chandler & Gayle Dwyer both of Knoxville; Chip Emerson, Atlanta & Cindy Baxter, Chattanooga, TN.



The memorial service for Mellan Blount will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, 950 7th Street, Clermont, FL.
