Mary Elizabeth Mair, 71, Clermont,  passed away July 11, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 19, 1940, in Upper Darby Township, PA, daughter of Frank & Alleta (Higgins) Borderieux.  After 32 years in banking, she retired as a VP from Core States/First Peoples National Bank. She was an active member of First Baptist of Clermont.  She is survived by her husband George Mair, Jr., children Claire & Mark Borg of Pensacola, FL; Lois & Wayne Elder, of Woolwich Twp, NJ; Alice & Roger Bradley, of St. Augustine, FL;  Elaine & Darrell Cox of Rogers, AR;  Michelle & Bill Toothman of Rivesville, WV; Kimberley & Anthony DiLoretto of Medford Lakes, NJ; Michael & Julie Mair of Odenton, MD; and Kathleen Mair of Anaheim, CA;  Grandchildren are Ryan, Tyler, and Stephanie Borg; Matthew & Larissa Elder; Charlotte, Mark, Laura, Olivia & Gretchen Bradley;  Timothy Cox; Jessica Toothman; Anthony, Mark, Darren, and Dante DiLoretto; and Mai Lin & Mai Yeng  Mair.  Siblings Alleta Black, Deloris Gargiule, Barbara Eckert, Jerome Borderieux, and Dorothea La Rue.  She was preceded by death by grandchildren, Gwendolyn & Zachary Cox & brother, Franklin Borderieux.  She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, swimming, aerobics, Bible Study, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She graduated from Audubon High in 1958 and received her B.S. in Business in 1993 from Rowand University.



The funeral services for Mary Barrett Mair will be held at 10:00 am on Friday July 15, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Clermont with her son in-law Pastor Bill Toothman, Marion Independent Baptist Church, Rivesville, WV officiating.  Burial is scheduled for 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Flowers will be accepted however, should friends desire, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mary's name to Angels of Mercy, 1330 Millholand Street., Clermont, FL 34711-3223, www.angelsofmercy.com
