Marvin Krull who was born on February 8,1931 in Rockaway Beach, New York passed peacefully at Cornerstone Hospice in Clermont, Florida on June 15, 2022. He spent his early childhood in Brooklyn, New York. Marv was an avid sports fan and was never too far away from a ball field or hockey rink with his friends. After graduating Lafayette High School, he attended Brooklyn College for a short time before being drafted into the Army and the Korean War. He served honorably in Korea from 1951 until the conflict ended in 1953. He was decorated with two Bronze Service Stars and a U.N. Service Medal. Marvin returned home and married his childhood sweetheart, Carole, on October 24, 1953. They raised their family on Long Island where Marvin made a career in sales. He enjoyed following his favorite sports teams, the NY Mets and the NY Rangers, and took up playing golf. After retiring, Marvin and Carole moved to South Florida where Marvin worked part time and took great pride in volunteering for the Palm Beach Sheriff's Dept as a Unit Captain. They decided to make their last move to Clermont, FL so that they could be closer to their great grandchildren.
Marvin is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, his three loving children, four wonderful grandchildren, and two beautiful great grand kids (with another on the way!). We will all miss you dearly Marv, dad, grandpa, and gpa, but you'll always be in our hearts. Rest in peace.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 11am at Becker Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 2pm in Florida National Cemetery.
