Obituary
Martha Ernestine Creech, 82, of Ferndale, FL passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. Ernestine was born on December 27, 1934 in Georgia, daughter of Carl and Mammie Grace Merritt. She was a lifelong resident of South Lake County and a member of the Church of God, Ferndale. Ernestine worked for various Lake County Schools as a lunchroom manager, including Minneola Elementary, Clermont Junior High, Clermont High School, Clermont Middle School and South Lake High School. She started working for schools at the Tildenville Elementary in Orange County.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Leo Creech, Sr.; son, Mark Creech of Ferndale; 6 grandchildren, Stacey Padgett, Stephanie Giraldo, Marcus Jahna, Dusty Ramsey, Dalton Jahna and Leah Futral and 11 great grandchildren.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in Ernestine's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
