Martha K. Chronic, "Mitzi", was a devoted wife, loving  mother, and Nonnie. She was born in Tampa, but lived most of her life in  Wauchula before moving to Valrico,  then Clermont. While attending Jones college, she married Gary W. Chronic and they created a family they cherished. She worked for the Hardee County School Board as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional for many years, touching the lives of students who found her to be someone they could trust and confide in. Her most important role was being Nonnie to her treasured grandchildren.  In retirement, she moved to Kings Ridge and enjoyed playing many games and socializing with her dear friends.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Yvonne and Brian Schaefer, and her son and daughter in law, Robert and Ann Chronic. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, Reese and Landon Schaefer, and Jacob, Aislinn, and Campbell Chronic. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Gary; her father, Francis Roberts; her mother, Christine Roberts; and brother, Ronnie Roberts.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Becker Funeral Home, Clermont. Services will begin at 2 pm, Saturday, January 24th. There will be an informal gathering after the service at 3902 Eversholt Street, Clermont after the service.
