Obituary

Marshall Harry Edward Gale, 73 of Groveland, FL, passed away on Friday April 14, 2017 at his residence.  Born on September 19, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to the proud parents of Harry & Marjorie (Peine) Gale, Marshall was a maintenance supervisor.  He moved to the area in 2013, coming from his native town of Jacksonville, where he was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.  Marshall was a Vietnam U.S. Army Veteran, serving in country.  Early on in life, he was a member of a Thespian troupe at Robert E. Lee High School, starring in class productions.  He also loved his animals and gardening.  Survivors include his loving daughters: Tammie & (Robert) Talley of Jacksonville, FL; Tina & (Tim) Sapp ofValdosta Georgia and Wendy Gale & (Jim) Carroll of Groveland, FL.; a sister, Peggy Gallant of Biloxi, MS; a brother, Timothy Cash of Gainesville, FL and his six grandchildren: Peyton, Kenedy, Hunter, Tyler, Colburn and Hailey.  A Military Committal Service will be held in Marshall's honor on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
