Mark Andrew Dewey, beloved husband, father, and grandfather leaves behind his spirit in the family that survives him. Born April 18, 1960 in Palmer, MA to David Ernest Dewey and Muriel Faith Boudreau, both preceding him in death, he eventually passed in Orlando, FL on August 24,2016. He leaves behind a loving wife in Anna May Dewey as well as two grieving children, Muriel May Dewey and Bob Andrew Dewey. He will also be deeply missed by his young grandchildren, Seth Andrew Dewey and Adele May Dewey, as well as an incoming grandchild who will be met with only a memory.
FCC Mark Dewey honorably served 21 years in the United States Navy, stationed upon the USS Reeves (CG-24), eventually retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1998. Upon retiring from the Navy, he started working at Universal Studios Orlando as a Ride and Show Technician, helping in opening the Islands of Adventure theme park. The year 2010 saw him make his way to Legoland Florida to help open the newest of Merlin Entertainment's U.S. ventures as a Rides Maintenance Supervisor.
Mark has touched many lives through his travels abroad and through his entertainment themed work. He will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
