Marjorie Agnes
Exizian
January 31, 1936 – March 31, 2026
Marjorie Agnes Exizian, born on January 31, 1936, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, at her residence in Clermont, Florida, on March 31, 2026.
Margie was born in New York City. She lived on Long Island for most of her life. In 2024, she moved to Florida with her daughter and son in law, MaryAnne and James Becher.
She married the love of her life, Jerry, at the age of 17, and together they built a beautiful life and family, raising three children: Deborah, Gerard, and MaryAnne. She was a devoted wife and mother who found joy in caring for her family. She loved many crafts but especially gardening; in New York, she created a stunning pond that brought her great happiness for years.
Margie worked for Macy’s for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.
She was predeceased by her beloved son, Gerard Exizian, who passed in June 1986, and by her husband of 67 years, Gerard (“Jerry”) Exizian, who passed in April 2020.
Margie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Stephen Post, and MaryAnne and James Becher. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren and their spouses: Andrew and Ashley Post, Carolyn and David Kressin, Juliana and Andy McKinney, and Daniel and Marissa Becher. She was blessed with four great-grandsons: Jackson Post, Austin Post, Parker Kressin, and Kaden Kressin.
Margie loved traveling, especially with her daughter Debbie and family. Together they enjoyed many cruises and special trips to Disney World.
She was a devoted follower of Christ and volunteered for many years in the women’s ministry at her church in New York, Island Christian Church. Her faith was a central part of her life, and she found great joy in sharing it with others.
A graveside service will be held this summer in New York, at a date yet to be determined. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Jerry.
