Marilyn Ann Puritz, beloved wife of Lauren Puritz and mother to Beverly, Steven and David Puritz passed away peacefully on February 10, 2020. Marilyn was the loving daughter of Samuel and Ruth Melnick and surviving sister, Barbara Schwartz. In addition to Marilyn's three children, she is survived by her grandchildren, Samuel and Ethan Puritz. Marilyn was an avid dog lover and enjoyed exercising outdoors. Her favorite days included spending hours walking the parks at Disney or playing mahjong with her closest friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 10am at Becker Funeral Home followed by a committal service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL, at 12pm.  Following that service, the family will have a reception in her honor for family and friends at the Kings Ridge Clubhouse in Clermont, FL.

The Shiva Service will follow reception and be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 through to Monday, February 17, 2020, from 7:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M at 3443 Capland Avenue, Clermont, FL 34711.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Congregation Sinai in Groveland, FL. or to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America of behalf of Marilyn Puritz.
