IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilyn Marie
Doyle
August 11, 1935 – October 1, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Marie Doyle announce that she went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 1, 2018 in Clermont, FL. Marilyn was born on August 11, 1935 in Detroit, MI. She was 83 years old.
Marilyn attended Southeastern High School in Detroit, MI and upon graduation worked at Detroit Edison. Later on, she enjoyed a lengthy career at the Budd Company in Detroit until her retirement as an executive secretary in 1980. After her marriage to Austin Doyle in 1980, they relocated to Wheaton, Illinois and subsequently to Tampa, Florida until Austin's retirement from Graybar Electric in 1992. Marilyn has been happily retired and living in Clermont, Florida with her beloved husband, Austin, since that time.
Throughout her long life, Marilyn has regularly been involved in various volunteer efforts focused primarily on children and families in need. She has been an active church member at Blessed Sacrament Church in Clermont for many years where she has served with St. Vincent DePaul and Outward Sign. Her love for creating beautiful crafts have always filled her homes with embroidery, cross-stitch, and macramé décor. Of course, she always enjoyed playing a round of golf or two with Austin! Marilyn has traveled the world with Austin having visited every continent with one exception: Antartica. As you can see, she has been blessed with a rich and full life.
