Marilyn Lashbrook Beck, age 66, Clermont, passed away August 28, 2016 at South Lake Hospital. She was born January 21, 1950 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Clara Kelley & Lloyd Lashbrook. She was a homemaker and local resident since January of this year from St. Cloud, FL. Survivors include her husband Michael Gray Beck & daughter Heidi Beck of the home; son Jeremy Beck & his wife Elena of Atlanta; brothers Larry Lashbrook & his wife Alba of Fort Lauderdale, David Lashbrook & his wife Jan of Fort Lauderdale , & nieces & nephews.

As I posted online, my wife Marilyn Lashbrook Beck passed away Sunday at 12:30 AM. Marilyn was the most Loving, compassionate person you would ever meet. Marilyn's passion was children. She spent years working with Child Evangelism Fellowship, teaching people how to work with children at Florida Bible College, and authoring Best selling award winning Me Too! There will be a closed casket viewing 10:30-11 AM, and a service 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers we are asking for a memorial donation to John and Jennifer Phillips. Jennifer mentored Heidi in Junior High and High School, and the are adopting a baby named Luna.
