Obituary

Mom, Marie Krueger Plotts. Born: May 27, 1922. Passed: November 30, 2020.

Marie Plotts (mom) was my mother in law. She was a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a grandmother and a great grandmother.   Marie was  wife to Robert H. Plotts Sr. for 53 years.    Marie and dad loved taking long drives and at one time they would often fish and go camping.   Marie especially loved working in her garden and could often be found on her hands and knees making her garden beautiful.  Marie enjoyed working at Tyco putting together HO trains and cars until her retirement.  Marie could often be found at the casinos in Atlantic city NJ with her daughter Susan. She loved those slot machines.  Marie also loved cooking and made some of the best pies I ever ate. Marie especially loved having the grand children visit and running through the house. Marie was blessed with 3 children; Robert H Plotts Jr who is married to Sallie Foreman Plotts, Susan Redfield who was married to Norman Redfield, and Linda Jones who is married to John Jones. Marie was blessed with six grandchildren: Robert Plotts 3rd, Douglas Redfield, Susan Redfield, Thomas Jones, Catherine Jones Franey, and Laura Jones.  Marie was  blessed with 5 step grand children: Robert Carr, Thomas Carr, Michael Woerner,  Gene Woerner and Nick Carr. Marie has 13 great grand children. Marie was  one of three siblings: Dolores Davis (deceased) and Jane Egli who  are her loving sisters. Marie had that happy glow about her that could just light up a room . She loved puzzles and games but her favorite game was bingo. Marie was a fierce bingo player and my bingo buddy.  Marie loved music and could often be seen dancing to the sound of music. Bob and I  often took her to weekly jams where she  could be seen dancing in her seat. Marie was a devoted mom who loved her family and would do anything for each and everyone of us. It was devastating to her when she lost dad to heart failure and then lost her son in law Norm and her daughter Susan. Marie loved traveling and was always up to a trip around town , a cruise or out for a good cocktail with friends and family. Marie was a gift and a blessing to each of us whose life she touched.  When it became apparent that Marie needed a little help she came to live with Bob and myself here in Florida. Marie was a true blessing to us as she  taught us to truly love and understand life in ways we had never thought possible. She was like a gift that was a never ending blessing. Marie had true faith and one of my most beautiful memories of Marie is seeing her put her hands up in prayer and pray each and every night. Marie is now with our heavenly Father and at peace. Her beautiful smile is a light of joy there in heaven. We will always love her and miss her but we know that when our father calls us home to heaven we will once more hold Marie (mom) close to us. We thank God for blessing us with the gift of  Marie E Plotts. We love you mom. Thank you for being you. Lovingly, Sallie
