    May 2, 1934- November 17, 2024
Marie Mae Eliasen (Ouelette) passed away peacefully surrounded by her three daughters
under the care of Vitas Hospice. Marie will always be remembered as a loving and caring
wife, preceded in death to husband Jim. Marie was a wonderful mother to her three
daughters Valerie, Carole and Nancy. " Mom Mom", as she was lovingly called, was a doting
grandmother to her ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her kind and generous
    spirit will always be remembered.
Marie was born in Grand Falls, Canada where she lived until moving to the United States
following her marriage to Jim Eliasen in June 1955. Jim and Marie resided in Baltimore,
Maryland where they raised their three children while Marie worked for Provident Bank as a
bank manager. Marie loved helping her customers and assisting with their banking needs.
After her retirement of 40 years in banking, Marie and Jim moved to Clermont, Florida where
she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, baking, gardening and spending
    time with church members.
Many of Marie's fondest memories were of spending time with her Canadian family and a
love of her family home in Grand Falls, Canada. She followed local news of Grand Falls and
kept in contact with close friends from her early years. She will be greatly missed as a sister,
aunt and cousin to her Canadian family.
Marie also had a special place in her heart for the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Spending
summers at the shore brought her some of her fondest memories. Many hours of catching
crabs and preparing steamed crabs for family and friends, while staying up late to play
Pinochle card games. All were welcome at her shore home that she called "a little piece of
    heaven".
Marie is survived by her daughter Valerie Cramblitt and husband Kenneth Cramblitt, Jr. Her
grandchildren are Rebekah and Taylor Ramos, Kenny and Becca Cramblitt, III, Rachel and
Cameron Hayes, Ruth Cramblitt, and Rosemary Cramblitt. Her great grandchildren are Liam
    and Jonathan Cramblitt.
Marie is survived by her daughter Carole Michalski, married to Christopher Michalski,
grandmother to Zach and Rachel Michalski, Caitlyn and Seth Harrelson, and great
    grandmother to Mitchell Michalski.
Marie is survived by her daughter Nancy Eliasen, and grandmother to Mathew, Noah and
    Jacob Stewart.
The family will have a Celebration of Life for Marie at Becker Funeral home in Clermont,
Florida on Saturday November 23rd from 1pm -3pm. A virtual ceremony will also be held
during this time. The interment will occur on Monday, November 25th at 12:30pm at the
Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL where Marie will be buried next to her husband
    Jim.
The family kindly suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials in Marie's name to be donated to the
    charity Samaritan's purse, www.samaritanspurse.org .
The family wish to thank the Vitas Hospice care team for their loving care of Marie with a
special recognition to Torry for the help that she gave Marie during her later years.
