Marie Sandra Denault, 75, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 2, 2022 after a battle with cancer in Orlando, Florida.

Marie was born in February, 1947 in Westerly, Rhode Island to Tony and Mary (Pendola) Giamo. She attended St. Michael's School in Pawcatuck and Putnam Catholic Academy.  Marie married her husband Ronald on June 1, 1968 in Westerly, RI and raised her children in Pawcatuck, CT.

Marie is survived by her devoted husband of over 54 years, Ronald P. Denault, her children Michele Seibel,her husband Michael and her son Ron Denault Jr. All live in Orlando, Florida. She was the beloved grandmother of Madison Lange of Miami, Florida. She is also survived by her sister Gail Sheldon of Pawcatuck.

Marie worked for many years as a nurse at both Westerly and Lawrence Memorial Hospital. One of her most fulfilling jobs was working at Thomas Mahan Elementary school with children with disabilities in the 1990's. She moved to Florida in 1997 and worked in reservations for Westin at the Swan and Dolphin. She retired in 2012.

Marie loved to host dinners for family and celebrate every holiday to the fullest. Hobbies included traveling with her family, baking and doing puzzles.

Marie was a devoted Catholic who prayed the rosary daily. She has been described by family and friends as incredibly caring and kind. She welcomed anyone she met into her home with immeasurable love.
