Obituary for Marie Andriola (LaPolla)
April 2, 2026 at the age of 93, Marie Andriola (LaPolla) received her angel wings and took flight to the golden gates of heaven to meet the Lord and be reunited with her beloved husband, Rocky.
Marie was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey to her loving parents, Saverio and Anna LaPolla. On January 21, 1951, she married the love of her life, Rocky. Together they built a beautiful life and home in Old Bridge, New Jersey, before retiring to Clermont, Florida in 1996.
Marie was predeceased by her devoted husband, Rocky, in July 2004; her sister Rita Andriola in May 1996; her brother Larry LaPolla in September 2017; and her sister Diane Facchiano in August 2024.
She is survived by her loving son, Guy, and his wife Donna of Clermont, Florida, along with their cherished grand-fur baby, Francine. She is also survived by her brother Joe of Indiana, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who became family to her over the years.
Marie was known for her beautiful smile, vibrant red hair, and perfectly manicured nails. She treasured time spent with family and friends and had a special gift for cooking and baking. There was rarely a birthday or special occasion that did not include one of Marie’s famous cakes, always “baked with love,” as she would proudly say. At Christmastime, she baked more cookies than a bakery, joyfully sharing them with everyone she loved.
Her home was the center of her pride and joy—a place filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aromas of her kitchen.
Marie was a deeply loved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be profoundly missed and leaves behind a void in the hearts of many that cannot be filled.
Yet we find comfort in knowing that her faith in God was unshakable. She now rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus and is reunited with her beloved Rocky, whom she missed so dearly. Together again, they are surely ballroom dancing through the clouds.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 4pm until 7pm at Becker Funeral Home. A Catholic Prayer Service will start at 6:30pm.

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder why I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! But Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
