Obituary

Margia H. Rogers, 104, of Montverde, FL passed away Monday, February 5. 2018.  Margia was born on December 1, 1913 in Ansonville, NC, daughter of James D. and Grace (nee Threadgill) Hancock.  Margia was a homemaker and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Montverde.  She had resided in South Lake County since 1997 previously living in Sanford, FL.  Margia was also a longtime resident of both High Point, NC and Miami, FL, and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

Margia is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Jon) Hudson of Montverde, FL; grandchildren, Scott (Teresa) Cone, Sandra (Mark) Cody, Michael (Gwendolyn) Cone and Leslie Cone and great grandchildren, William and Grace.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fenton Rogers in 2002 and daughter, Brenda Fenton Rogers in 1976.
