Margaret E. Seamon, 82, died of natural causes August 10th, 2012 at Superior Residences of Clermont, Florida. Her ex-husband, Gilbert C. Seamon, of Meadville, Pennsylvania preceded her in death in July of 2009. They had one daughter, Deborah A. Kidd of Fort Wayne, Indiana, four grandsons (Shawn Kidd of Clermont, Corbin Kidd of Evanston, Illinois and Adam and Nathan Kidd of Fort Wayne) and 8 great grandchildren. She was born October 28th, 1929 in Greenville, Pennsylvania, the only child of Herman Britton and Catherine (Moore) Britton. However, Meadville, Pennsylvania was home for many years where she owned and operated Maggie's Beauty Salon. In 1972 she moved to Orlando, Florida to semi-retire, yet she continued to work another 23 years as an interior designer at Disney's Village Resort and Tree House Villas. After retirement she moved to Kings Ridge in Clermont, FL and most recently resided at Superior Residences. In her latter years she was an avid traveler, having visited China, Russia, Italy, England, Thailand, Germany, France, Holland, Israel, Hawaii, and took several cruises to the Bahamas.
Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Meadville on Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 at 2:45pm.
