Margaret M. "Peggy" Scott, 90, of Minneola, FL passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont.  Peggy was born on December 15, 1922 in Port Washington, NY, the daughter of John and Dehlia Lerhinan.  She was a resident of Central Florida since 1965 previously residing in Mechanicsburg, PA.  Peggy was a homemaker and a member of Real Life Christian Church, US Military Officers Club, PTA and Garden Club.  She was a former member of St. James Catholic Cathedral of Orlando.

Peggy is survived by her loving sons, Paul (Sandra) of Clermont, John (Jill) of Cocoa Beach, FL and Patrick (Rebecca) of Clermont; sisters, Agnes Lyons and Theresa "Sister Christa" Lerhinan and grandchildren, Evan, Walker, Joshua and Sophie.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Scott and siblings, Thomas, John and Jerry Lerhinan and Mary Connaughton.



A Celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 10AM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Real Life Christian Church, 1501 Steves Rd., Clermont, FL, with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 8PM Friday at the funeral home.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in Peggy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
