Magdalena (Magie) Espinosa, 83, of Clermont, Florida, went to heaven on December 4, 2022.

Magie at the age of 17 left communist Hungary and crossed over to Austria leaving her mother (Magda), Magdolna Szanty and brother (Steve), Stephen Dobay. She worked in Austria and Germany in the culinary field honing her skills as a chef before immigrating to America and becoming an American citizen and a republican. Later Magie was instrumental in helping her mother and brother leave communist Hungary and eventually become American citizens. She married Curtis Drumheller and they opened a restaurant in NY and in Puerto Rico. As an entrepreneur, she managed both restaurants and became a known chef. After the death of Curtis, she moved from Puerto Rico to Clermont, and married Anthony Espinosa (Tony). They have been married for 42 years. Magie retired as a chef from Buena Vista Palace Hotel, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, after working for them for 23 years. Magie is deeply missed by her husband Tony, her brother, Steve, her step-daughter, Jerellen Page, her step-son, Anthony Espinosa and her best friends Dianna, Beasley and Abbey.
