M. Rosalie Dixon, 89, of Groveland, FL passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Lane Purcell Hospice House. Rosalie was born in September 18, 1924 in Clear Fork, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert and Bertha (nee Shannon) Cook. She resided in South Lake County for the past 60 years previously living in Pineville, WV. She was a homemaker and Christian.



Rosalie is survived by her loving children, Carol Jean (Michael) Hooks of GA, Charlotte Virginia Tripp of Tavares, FL, Mark Anthony (Betty) Dixon of Winter Springs, FL and JoAnn Giddens of Groveland, FL; 13 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Douglas Dixon in 2003.



The Funeral Service for Mary Rosalie Dixon will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the Becker Chapel, with interment following at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until service time on Tuesday. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
