Celebrating the Life of Luis Alfonso Interiano

Luis Alfonso Interiano, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family in Clermont, Florida. Throughout his life, Luis exemplified loyalty, intelligence, and joy, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Born on April 29, 1949, in Santa Rosa Guachipilín, El Salvador, to Luis María Interiano and Lorenza Tobar, Luis grew up in a vibrant house filled with nine siblings. Raised in a rural agricultural village, he learned the values of family and hard work early in life. It was during his school years in Nueva Concepción that he met the love of his life, María Del Carmen. The childhood sweethearts married and built a beautiful life together, sharing 57 devoted years of marriage.

Luis spent his career working as a machinist, where he was widely respected for his strong character, integrity, and dedication.

A man of profound faith, Luis dedicated much of his life to serving God and his Catholic church community. He served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, guided many through teaching Bible studies, and faithfully lifted up others in intercessory prayer. He was also a passionate supporter and volunteer of faith-based retreats, helping create sacred spaces for others to encounter God’s grace.

Outside of his ministry and work, Luis embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who loved hunting and spending time in nature. In his quiet moments, he enjoyed western books and films, tending to his garden, and bringing laughter to every family gathering. Above all, Luis cherished his family, placing them and God at the center of everything he did.

Luis is survived by his beloved wife, María Del Carmen Interiano; his children, Luis Guillermo (and wife Judy), Claudia Lorena (and her late husband, Adolfo), and Arturo (and wife Carmen); and his cherished grandchildren, Breanna, Adolfo, Rafael, Kylie, Aydin, Joshua, Catalina, and Noah. He also leaves behind his siblings Rosa, Celso, Ernesto, Julio, Evelia, José Ángel, and Soledad, along with many extended family members, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Nelda, his brother Salvador, and his son-in-law Adolfo.

Luis’s memory and faithful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Luis Alfonso Interiano, un amado esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano y amigo, falleció pacíficamente el 8 de agosto de 2026 a la edad de 77 años, rodeado del amor de su familia en Clermont, Florida. A lo largo de su vida, Luis ejemplificó lealtad, inteligencia y alegría, dejando una huella imborrable en todos los que lo conocieron.

Nacido el 29 de abril de 1949 en Santa Rosa Guachipilín, El Salvador, hijo de Luis María Interiano y Lorenza Tobar, Luis creció en un hogar lleno de vida junto a sus nueve hermanos. Criado en un pueblo agrícola rural, aprendió desde muy joven los valores de la familia y el trabajo duro. Fue durante sus años escolares en Nueva Concepción donde conoció al amor de su vida, María Del Carmen. Aquellos novios de la infancia se casaron y construyeron una hermosa vida juntos, compartiendo 57 años de matrimonio y devoción.

Luis dedicó su carrera profesional al oficio de maquinista, donde fue ampliamente respetado por su carácter firme, integridad y dedicación.

Hombre de una fe profunda, Luis consagró gran parte de su vida al servicio de Dios y de su comunidad parroquial católica. Sirvió como Ministro Extraordinario de la Sagrada Comunión, guio a muchos a través de la enseñanza de estudios bíblicos y oró fielmente en intercesión por los demás. También fue un apasionado colaborador y voluntario en retiros espirituales, ayudando a crear espacios sagrados para que otros experimentaran la gracia de Dios.

Más allá de su ministerio y su trabajo, Luis vivió la vida con calidez y entusiasmo. Era un ávido pescador y amante de las actividades al aire libre, a quien le encantaba la caza y pasar tiempo en la naturaleza. En sus momentos de tranquilidad, disfrutaba de los libros y películas del Oeste (westerns), cuidaba de su jardín y llenaba de risas cada reunión familiar. Sobre todas las cosas, Luis amaba a su familia, situándola a ella y a Dios en el centro de todo lo que hacía.

A Luis le sobreviven su amada esposa, María Del Carmen Interiano; sus hijos, Luis Guillermo (y su esposa Judy), Claudia Lorena (y su difunto esposo, Adolfo) y Arturo (y su esposa Carmen); y sus adorados nietos, Breanna, Adolfo, Rafael, Kylie, Aydin, Joshua, Catalina y Noah. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Rosa, Celso, Ernesto, Julio, Evelia, José Ángel y Soledad, así como numerosos familiares, amigos y hermanos y hermanas en Cristo. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, su hermana Nelda, su hermano Salvador y su yerno Adolfo.

El recuerdo de Luis y su espíritu de fe vivirán por siempre en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.
