On Monday, November 23rd, 2020, Luis "Louie" Cintron, a man that was a role model of love, kindness, and strength passed away of natural causes, at the age of 75. Luis was born on February 9th, 1945, in Yauco, Puerto Rico to Abaíta Garcia and Juán Cintron. He worked for the City of New York Healthcare Department, for 37 years as a mechanical engineer. He was married to Carmen Rodríguez for 50 years and raised three daughters, Brenda, Mollie and Cassie, and one son Jose, losing one son, at nine months old, Gilbert. He is also survived by Louis Cintron, son and Linda Cintron, daughter.

Luis was a lifelong New York Mets baseball fan, and loved watching WWE wrestling whenever he could, and was in attendance for Wrestlemania XXIV. He also enjoyed visiting theme parks and was particularly fond of attending live performances, in which he could sit down and experience the spectacle with his family. Restaurants were Luis's favorite pastime, whether it was for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, he would always perk up at the opportunity to spend time at the table with his loved ones. Luis was also a man of God within the faith of the Roman Catholic Church, spreading the wisdom he had obtained throughout his life.

Luis leaves behind a myriad of people that he had influenced via his unyielding pursuit of happiness for everyone he came in contact with. To many he was considered as a father figure and he filled that role with joy, honor and love of the highest degree. He extended that love and cultivated it with his faith in God and exemplified many of the teachings of the Bible. He will be sorely missed here on Earth, while he rests in the Kingdom of God in Heaven.
